Groups and ClassesAdults
Alcoholics Anonymous - (Wednesdays at 7 PM and Fridays at 8 PM) - Call the Church Office at 574-255-7500 or email us at willowcreekumc@yahoo.com for contact information.
Faith Class - (Sundays at 11 AM) - This senior adult class is studying stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply it to daily life. Each week the Faith class will move from a focus on the Word through this Bible study to reflections on personal, family, church, and community concerns. This class is led by Wayne Lavengood.
IPG (Intercessory Prayer Group) - (Tuesdays at 10 AM) - This group meets together for a focused time of prayer. They lift up the concerns of the church, the community, the nation, and the world. The group is led by Nina Sanders.

Primetimers - (Second Thursday monthy at 12 NOON) - This group of seniors (age 55+) meets for fellowship and a meal each month. Roy Wotring, Sr. is the coordinator.
Resurrection Class - (Sundays at 11 AM) - This mixed age class often uses topical studies that relate the Bible to everyday life and world events. This study not only motivates Christians to consider their personal views on important contemporary issues, it also encourages them to act on their beliefs. Curt Kent is the class leader.
Seekers Class - (Sundays at 11 AM) - This mixed age class takes on many aspects of the Christian life using many different books and publications as a help to get to know the Bible better. If you are looking for a lively discussion as you grow in your faith you will find it in the Seekers Class. Nina Sanders and Tina Neil, are the class leaders.
United Methodist Women - (Third Monday monthly at 7 PM) - This group of women seeks to grow in faith and support the local and global missions of the church. Among the purposes of the United Methodist Women are the following: (1) to provide resources and opportunities for women that enrich their spiritual life and increase their knowledge of the needs of the world, (2) to enlist women in activities that have moral and religious significance for the public welfare and that contribute to the establishment of a just global society, (3) to secure funds for the support of the program of the church, with special concern for the needs and responsibilities of women, and (4) to project plans specifically directed toward leadership development of women. Carol Griggs serves as the Willow Creek United Methodist Women President.
Youth/Young Adults (Grades 4 - High School)
Middle School Class (Grades 4,5,6) - (Sundays at 11 AM) - This class will be using the material which allows youth in grades 4-6 to experience a key story from the Bible in a variety of ways, appropriate for different learning styles. Through hearing, telling, drama, art, and music, the learners immerse themselves in the story. They are then challenged through a series of activities to "connect with the story" to draw meaning from it for their own lives. The student booklet is a devotional written by teens for teens. Teachers are Wayne Jordan and Peggy Barhydt.
Youth Class (Grades 6-9) - (Sundays at 11 AM) - This class is studying a variety of Biblically based and contemporary topics. Teachers are Peggy Miller and Moli Uasi.
Boy Scouts - (Mondays at 7 PM) - Willow Creek sponsors this very active troop that seeks to develop strong character and values in the lives of the boys of our community. Our Scout Master is Dan Dallich.
Jr. Girl Scouts - (2nd & 4th Tuesdays - 3:30 PM) - This group of girls is led by experienced adults who seek to build character, teach life skills, and develop moral values within the lives of young girls. Lisa Dallich serves as our Troop Leader.
Children (Birth - Grade 3)
Nursery - (Sundays at 9:30 AM) - We provide a volunteer-staffed nursery during our worship celebration for infants and very young children. Debbie Gordon coordinates our nursery volunteers.
Sunday School (Toddler - Grade 3) (Sundays at 11 AM) Small Wonders Toddler through Kindergarten- Shelly Harrell and Donna Wotring. Grades 1 through 3- Tammi Wotring.
