Jerusalem Institute for Bible Exploration

One of the most inspirational ways I know to study the Scripture and gain understanding of God's Word is to experience the Land where the biblical events took place. I would like to invite you to travel with my wife and I to the Holy Land (a optional extension to Egypt) in November 2010 as we travel with experienced guides and teachers from the Jerusalem Institute for Biblical Experience.

For those of you who know nothing of me I offer a bit of background. I am a Jewish Christian (Messianic Jew). I have been a United Methodist pastor for 40 years. For 15 years, I have led a community outreach ministry to Jews and non-Jews called Teshuvah. In addition, I have been a frequent visitor to the Holy Land, Egypt and Jordan and most recently have joined the Jerusalem Institute for Biblical Experience (JIBE) as an adjunct faulty member.

Visiting the Holy Land is unlike any other place you will ever travel! Your travel experience will be much more than any regular tour can offer! We will combine the experience of walking the Land where Jesus and the men and women of the Bible walked, with instruction on the archeological/biblical history of each site and an inspirational faith lesson which will make your reading and study of Scripture come alive in new, deeper and enriching ways all wrapped in the atmosphere of the people and culture of the Land of the Bible.
